BE Leadership Program
BE LEADERS - 1:1 Leadership Skills Development, Mentoring and Support Program - enabling young people to develop confidence and leadership skills.
Target group
BE Leaders works directly with 30 marginalised and
socio-economically disadvantaged young people aged 15-25, with a focus
on those from indigenous, culturally disadvantaged and/or minority
groups.
Aims & objectives
BE Leaders objectives are to:
- Enable young people to develop confidence and leadership skills;
- Remove barriers to participation;
- Develop individual pathways out of disadvantage;
- Build skills to work in leadership roles within BE projects.
Outcomes
BE LEADERS outcomes sought include:
- To successfully engage participants and support networks;
- To develop leadership skills;
- To provide opportunities to apply leadership skills in existing BE Programs / Communities
- To provide access to further training and development support
- To conduct quality AIP program activities / workshops
- To produce quality performance / exhibition outcomes
Beyond Empathy has developed Key Performance Indicators and clear steps to be taken to achieve these KPIs to ensure the achievement of the above outcomes.
